Our programs
Liberation takes
daily work.
We connect immediate care with the work of building freedom. Our programs respond to food insecurity, displacement, incarceration, and the need for recovery and community.
Meeting needs. Building power.
Care people can build on.
Project Oasis
Support for families navigating housing instability and the social-services system. Project Oasis focuses on families in Albany, Rensselaer, Columbia, Greene, and Ulster Counties.
We work toward stability through practical support, community relationships, and connections to resources.
Survivors Circle of Life
A community response for survivors of domestic violence, focused on safety, emergency hosting, and pathways toward permanent housing.
Reach out first to discuss a safe way to communicate and current program capacity.
Recovery coaching
Support rooted in lived experience, dignity, and each person’s own goals. Recovery coaching creates space for connection, encouragement, and practical next steps.
People deserve care without shame.
Community fridge & garden
Food access and community growing efforts, including work in Greene County and Catskill’s Hoppinose community.
Growing, sharing, and distributing food strengthens the relationships that sustain us.
Mutual aid
Neighbors and accomplices pooling resources to respond to urgent needs. Our Mutual Aid Fund and community support efforts connect what people can offer with what others need.
Available support depends on current resources and capacity.
Harm reduction
Practical, nonjudgmental support that centers life, dignity, and connection. We approach substance use through care and community rather than punishment.
Youth wilderness
Opportunities for children and young people to connect with nature, build confidence, and experience community beyond the pressures of everyday life.
Political education
Shared learning that connects lived experience with the systems shaping our lives. “Beyond the Two-Party Trap” is part of our work to build political understanding and collective action.
Abolitionist organizing
Organizing against mass incarceration and state violence, and toward the conditions that make communities safe: housing, food, care, opportunity, and freedom.
